A SHOPKEEPER was threatened with a blade during an armed robbery.
The burglar, described as a white man in his 20s, stole a 'large amount of money' from the Premier supermarket in Deansway, Bromsgrove, at around 7pm on Friday (June 23).
The man raided the till while it was unattended, and, when confronted by a staff member, threatened them with a bladed weapon.
The burglar then made off on foot, heading down a footpath towards Highfields.
Thankfully, no one was injured.
PC Tom Pritchard of West Mercia Police said: "We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, especially if you saw someone acting suspiciously running from the area towards Highfields."
The man has been described as average height and of slim build.
Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101, quoting incident number 768s.
