CHILDREN were welcomed into a Worcester business for Bring your Child to Work day.
Mainstay Group, based at Whittington Hall Worcester, threw open the doors to their employees' children and grandchildren so they could see where their relatives work.
It was the first time the property management company had taken part in the day on Friday, August 18.
The idea was for the day to give parents time with their children at their desks to show them what they do, as well as providing planned entertainment and activities including a magician and bouncy castle.
Children who attended ranged from age two to ten.
Ben New, 10, whose Mum Sally is the company's marketing and communications manager, said: “I loved sitting at my Mum’s desk and seeing what she does each day, I miss her when she goes to work even when I am at school.
"The magician was really fun and lunch was nice.”
Karen Fox, head of employee services for Mainstay said: “We all spend so much time at work that we feel it is important that our staff can show their children where they go each day.”
