BROMSGROVE Police and Fire Station will be opening its doors this Saturday (September 2).
The annual event at the joint station on Slideslow Drive takes place between 12pm and 4pm.
Free activities include firefighting and ladder scenarios, CPR demonstrations and a chip pan fire demonstration.
There will also be a road traffic collision demonstration where you can watch firefighters and West Mercia Police demonstrate how and what equipment they would use to rescue casualties from such incidents.
Visitors will get to meet local firefighters and police officers and see police dogs in action.
They can also learn what to do in a fire in their home at the station's smoke house.
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service’s (HWFRS) Young Firefighters Association will be present.
The event is one of many in the lead up to the 50th anniversary of West Mercia Police in October.
