Masked men attempt to break in to Co-op at Ambleside Drive
A GROUP of men with their faces covered were seen trying to break into the Co-op shop at Ambleside Drive, Worcester, just after midnight on Tuesday.
CCTV cameras at the store recorded images of the attempted break-in.
The men, described by police as "wearing dark clothing with face masks" damaged the sliding door of the main entrance, but could not break through the roller shutters.
Anyone with information is urged to call 101 quoting incident number 0004s/050917.
The same night between 9.30pm and 9.30am, another commercial premises in Ambleside Drive had its rear door damaged. Again, no entry was gained. The incident number is 0391s/050917.
Police have not said if the incidents are linked.
