UPDATE: London Midland has confirmed that a broken down train has been cleared.
Delays are still possible as the service starts to return to normal.
A TRAIN fault is causing delays between Stourbridge Junction and Worcester Shrub Hill.
A London Midland spokesman says that trains running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed.
London Midland tweeted: "Road transport will run between Stourbridge Junction, Hagley, Blakedown and Kidderminster as a shuttle service until further notice and between Kidderminster, Droitwich Spa, Worcester Foregate Street and Worcester Shrub Hill.
"There is ticket acceptance on National Express buses , 9, 53, 80, 87, 120 & 127 between Stourbridge and Birmingham until further notice."
"Slippery rails" are also causing delays between Worcester Shrub Hill and Oxford, according to the National Rail website.
It states: "Slippery rails between Worcester Shrub Hill and Moreton-in-Marsh is disruption trains between Worcester Shrub Hill and Oxford.
"Trains may be delayed by up to 40 minutes or diverted.
"Disruption is expected until 08:00."
