OVER 30 dogs met for a 'Golden Gathering' of Worcester Golden Retrievers.
Dogs from 14 weeks up to nearly 14 years old met as the owners joined together for their first "Golden Gathering" at Worcester Countryside Centre last Sunday.
Esther Povey who organised the event on Facebook through the Worcester Golden Retrievers group said: "We are planning to hold another gathering in about six to eight weeks.
"I know of at least 50-55 golden owners who are interested so hope the event grows and grows.
"I am hoping to develop the event and do longer walks and I am thinking of including fun and games, trick training, agility if people fancied a go, and a picnic in summer, for example.
"The event was very well received by all who attended, lots of friendly like minded goldie lovers just meeting up - there was no competitiveness or anything. It brought together people of all ages."
The next gathering is going to be on Sunday December 3 at 3pm at Worcester Countryside Centre.
