BUDDING cooks can drop in to a YMCA Worcestershire bake off on Saturday to decide ‘Worcestershire's Star Baker’.
The competition is open to all and anyone of any ability can enter, no matter if you have never kneaded dough.
Participants can enter into a variety of categories from a ‘themed bake’ to ‘cupcake creations’.
There is even a category that younger bakers can enter, the ‘star junior bake’.
It will be free to attend and visitors are encouraged to taste some of the day’s entries for themselves.
With a Christmas Fayre and entertainment running throughout the day as well as workshops and even a pop up tea room.
The charity supports young people and the homeless in local communities frequently holding events to raise awareness for its causes
and fundraise.
The event is due to be held on Saturday at the YMCA in Henwick Road.
People can drop in with judging due to take place from noon.
