TWO people who were arrested following a drugs raid, have been released while officers continue their investigations.
Police descended on a home in Shepherds Place in The Westlands estate, Droitwich, on Tuesday morning, after being granted a warrant.
A man, aged 27, and a woman, 24, were then arrested at the address for possession with intent to supply class B drugs, after a quantity of cannabis was found in the property.
Two children, aged two and four, were also in the home when more than a dozen police, including a dog handler and one armed with a Taser, bashed down the front door.
Sergeant Sarah Kent said social services were aware the warrant was being carried out and said the safety of the children was a top priority.
She confirmed on Wednesday afternoon that the pair have been “released while we download their phones for evidence of dealing”.
