ARMED police swooped on a Worcester street following reports of a man making threats to kill.
West Mercia Police were called to a domestic address off Drake Avenue, Worcester.
Officers attended the scene, including armed officers as a precautionary measure.
Detective Constable Stuart King of West Mercia Police, said: "We would like to reassure the local community that this was a contained incident and there was no wider threat to the public."
A 25-year-old man from Worcester has been arrested on suspicion of affray, assault, threats to kill and coercive and controlling behaviour.
He has been released on police bail until Tuesday, January 9 2018.
The incident took place on Monday at about 9.50am.
