TIMMY is a five-year-old Patterdale Terrier who has lived happily in the same home since he was a young puppy.

Sadly his owner’s circumstances have changed, which means that RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch needs to find a new home for him.

Geraldine Haynes, branch trustee, said: "Timmy loves to be outdoors and really enjoys playing fetch.

"He may be small, but he is full of energy and needs lots of exercise to tire him out. He most certainly wouldn’t suit a sedate household.

"With other dogs, it’s best for Timmy to be introduced gently to them.

"Indoors he loves cuddles and warm fires and is the sweetest companion."

Timmy would be best suited to a home with a well fenced, secure garden and with no other pets or children.

He needs someone who will be a strong yet gentle leader and responds well to encouragement, praise and special liver treats.

Timmy has been well cared for and is in excellent condition. He is housetrained, neutered, chipped and vaccinated.

If you feel you could offer Timmy a loving home, please call Geraldine on 01886 822083.

Visit the branch website for more rescued animals seeking their forever homes at rspca-worcester.org or call Geraldine on the number above for dogs.

For cats and rabbits, please ring The Holdings Rescue & Rehoming Centre on 07484 905707 or to meet the cats for adoption, visit the centre in Holdings Lane, Broomhall, near Worcester WR5 3FP any day (except Wednesdays) between 11am and 4pm.

There are no rabbits or dogs on site yet. The rabbits will move into the new rabbit house next month.

Dogs continue to be boarded at private kennels until funds have been raised to build the kennel block.
