CADETS in Worcester raised more than £700 for the charity Help for Heroes during a two-day collection at the Tesco branches in St Peter and Warndon.
Four Senior Cadets, under the direction of Lt James Edwards, Worcester Troop DC, B Coy Hereford and Worcester Bn ACF, raised a total of £724.
This was part of their 'Cadet in the Community' programme which will help them towards gaining their three-star Army Proficiency Certificate.
Ian Baldry, Help for Heroes Worcestershire County Coordinator, recently had the pleasure of visiting B Company at Worcester to personally thank the four cadets.
He was joined by Joanne Jenkins and Suzy Roberts who are both Community Champions at Tesco Worcester.
