Police are appealing for help to locate a man suspected of breaching his parole conditions.

Clifford Hodgkins, 36, from Kidderminster, was released from HMP Hewell last Friday but police already suspect him of breaching the conditions of his licence.

Hodgkins (pictured) has connections to the Kidderminster, Wyre Forest and Bromsgrove areas.

Police urge the anyone who has seen Mr Hodgkins or knows of his whereabouts to not approach him and instead call West Mercia Police on 101.

Hodgkins was jailed in 2001, after being involved in the burglary of a Chinese takeaway, where his accomplice John Dixon threatened to kill the takeaway owner unless he could have sex with his wife.

Hodgkins admitted the takeaway raid and burglary of a house and a garage.

Shirley Tang, wife of takeaway owner David Tang, gave evidence that Hodgkins picked up a meat cleaver during the break-in.

The pair stole £60, and fled as the police arrived. Hodgkins was given a nine-month youth detention sentence.
