POLICE have swooped on Worcester Foregate railway station.
Around five officers, one of which is British Transport Police, have been at the station since around 5pm.
An eye witness has said officers, some of which are wearing rubber gloves, are 'debating' with a man on platform 2 who was getting off a train.
He said two women pointed him out to officers on the platform.
The man appears to be homeless with two black eyes and other facial injuries, according to the witness.
The 5.15pm train to Birmingham New Street has been delayed but it is unclear if this is in relation to the incident.
