PERSHORE High School’s Interact Club have raised £1,000 in support of their teacher, Mrs Rhodes, who ran the London Marathon.
The students arranged a variety of fundraising activities, including cake sales, book sales, and most successfully, the 26-coin challenge (in honour of the 26 mile run).
Students have dedicated every Monday tutor time since October to plan and deliver their fundraising, often giving up lunchtimes and after school to help raise money.
Mrs Rhodes was raising money for The Make a Wish Foundation and finished the marathon in a fantastic time of 4 hours 53 minutes.
