GUIDED walks and the chance to make a mini meadow are part of the fun at a farm this weekend.

The Wild Meadows Activity Day at Worcestershire Wildlife Trust’s Lower Smite Farm on Saturday June 16.

Visitors to the event can get involved in guided walks through the farm’s meadows to look at wildflowers and understand more about management.

There will also be opportunities to pledge a patch so that you can make a mini meadow at home as well as the chance to make butterfly feeders to bring a little wild into your garden.

Visitors can also discover what lies beneath with pond dipping as well as bushcraft activities and fire-starting.

The event is part of a national weekend of wild events being organised by wildlife trusts across the UK.

The activities take place from 10am until 4pm. The farm is located off the A4538 between Sixways and Droitwich.
