SCHOOLMATES and staff at Nunnery Wood High School have expressed sadness and offered support to the family of teenager Lily Alves, who was hit by a bus on Deansway, Worcester, on Monday.
The 14-year-old was hit by a bus, near the Heart of Worcestershire College, at around 2.35pm
Headteacher Steve Powell said Lily is being "well looked after" by a team of experts at Bristol Children’s Hospital.
"Staff and students at Nunnery Wood High were shocked and saddened to hear about Lily’s accident," he said.
"We know that she is being well looked after in Bristol by an expert team and that everyone involved is positive about her situation.
"The school has been in touch with Lily’s family to offer its support during what must be an incredibly difficult time."
