TOMORROW’S EDL march and counter protests will inevitably make headlines.
We cannot ignore the fact that up to 500 protesters may be in our city centre and we will be reporting on the event.
It’s understandable, though, that some city residents may feel alarmed at the prospect of these protests, particularly in light of the divisive message that the EDL is promoting in our usually harmonious city.
Yesterday, Worcester MP Robin Walker used his column in this paper to call for city residents to keep calm and carry on - and spend Saturday going about their business and enjoying everything this beautiful city has to offer.
