SPORT stars from Worcester were honoured at an awards ceremony.
Fourteen winners were announced when the 15th City of Worcester Sport Awards took place on Thursday evening.
Held at the University of Worcester Arena, the annual awards were delivered in partnership by Freedom Leisure and Sport Worcester and supported by Worcester City Council, with the Worcester News as media partner.
Winners were announced and presented by Olympic medal winner and former World Champion Steve Cram CBE, while BBC Midlands Today sports presenter and reporter Dan Pallet hosted the event.
Ivan Horsfall-Turner, managing director of Freedom Leisure, said: “The awards as always were a truly humbling night and Freedom Leisure is proud to be the host because the event brings together the city’s sporting elite and allows us to honour the best, which in turn garners a great sporting legacy in the area."
See Monday's Worcester News for a full report and photos of all the winners.
