THE renowned international auctioneers Bonhams, founded in 1793, is hosting a valuation day in aid of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

The event, which is kindly being hosted by Chateau Impney in Droitwich, will take place on Thursday 20th September from 11am until 2pm.

Henry Sandon and a team of Bonhams specialists will be on hand to provide confidential valuations on any items, including jewellery and silver, ceramics and glass, pictures, clocks and works of art.

A suggested donation of £2 per item or £5 for three items has been offered, all proceeds going to lifesaving service Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

Sarah Shirley-Priest, senior valuer at Bonhams, said: “We’re really looking forward to this valuation day. So often, people do not know the true value of the things that they own and these events can uncover some wonderful surprises – and we are very happy to be helping such a worthy local cause.”

Michelle McCracken, Worcestershire fundraising executive for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, added: “We’re so grateful to Bonhams for putting on this valuation day in aid of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, and also to Chateau Impney for hosting.

“Being one of the world’s largest and most renowned auctioneers, it’s a huge honour that they have chosen to support us with an event like this, and I look forward to seeing how much of a success the day is.”

There is ample car parking available for attendees at Chateau Impney. For any enquiries relating to the event please contact knowle@bonhams.com or call 01564 776151.
