RESTRICTIONS will be in place on the M5 Junction 6 next week while improvement work is carried out.

As part of the scheme, the roundabout, the slip roads and all the approaches will be widened.

The work will add an extra lane to the roundabout and put traffic signals on the A449 and the A4538 Pershore Lane south approaches.

While the work is being carried out, narrow lanes will be in place on the roundabout and all approaches, and a 50mph speed limit will be in place, reducing down to 30mph in some area.

Barriers in place on the M5 and A4440 approaches, a free recovery service is on offer and there will be daytime off-peak (9.30am to 3.30pm) lane closures, and nightime off-peak (8pm to 6am) full closures and lane closures.
