TV comic Milton Jones is to appear in Halesowen in November.

The madcap one-liner act, who has appeared on the likes of Mock The Week and Live At The Apollo, will take centre stage at Cornbow Hall on Saturday, November 24.

Tickets are now on sale and expected to be snapped up quickly.

It will be the second Comedy At The Cornbow event after a hugely successful sell-out first show on Saturday night headlined by Canadian Tom Stade left punters calling out for more.

Jones will be supported on the night by Paul Thorne, a veteran headliner at The Comedy Store who has gigged all over the world and Gavin Webster, a circuit headliner who won the prestigious Comedian’s Comedian prize in 2014 voted for by fellow acts.

It will be hosted by Wayne Beese, whose company Funny Beeseness is putting on the shows.

Beese, from Dudley, said: “The first Comedy At The Cornbow was amazing, the atmosphere was absolutely electric.

“We hadn’t planned on putting another night on until March, but so many people told us they’d like one sooner we decided to bite the bullet and go for it.

“Getting an act of Milton’s stature to headline, especially after getting Stade too, is a massive statement of intent and we want to bring more big names to the town.

“Not only that, it’s a real triple headline bill as both Paul and Gavin are far from support acts, they both headline all the big comedy clubs in their own right.

“Hopefully we can sell out like we did for the first one and then it will keep on snowballing from there, and we would urge people to get behind it and snap up tickets.”

Doors will open at 7pm on the night, with the show starting at around 8pm.

Tickets range in price from £18.50 to £22 and are available at www.ticketsource.co.uk/funnybeeseness.
