A DIVERSION route seemingly advising motorists to drive into a field has appeared in Powick.
The signpost is located near The Three Nuns pub on Collett's Green Road, which leads onto Sparrowhall Lane.
According to Roadworks.org, Sparrowhall Lane is closed from today (Monday, September 24) until Monday, October 8 to allow for works to be carried out.
A diversion route is in operation via Collett's Green Road and Malvern Road.
Oliver Whyman, aged 36, of Powick said: "The diversion sign is telling people to go into a farmer's field.
"I thought that was quite funny but if you're not local to the area you will will follow that diversion sign.
"I know what has happened the direction is from the previous sign and they just haven't changed the sign."
