SESSIONS are running at Oldbury and Langley libraries to help people learn how to access Sandwell Council's website and sign up for a MySandwell account.

By having an account, people can get in touch with a range of council services, as well as paying bills, reporting problems and viewing your council tax bill.

The sessions will run at both libraries tomorrow (Wednesday, October 3) between 2.30pm and 3.30pm.

Councillor Syeda Khatun, Sandwell Council's deputy leader, said: "These sessions will be really helpful for people who need a bit of assistance with getting online.

"There's a wide range of council services available on MySandwell and it's really useful to be able request services and report problems without having to pick up the phone."

Councillor Steve Trow, cabinet member for culture and core council services, added: "Signing up for a MySandwell account opens up a quick and easy way for people to do business with the council. I'm sure the sessions will be very popular."

If you do not have an email address, the library staff will provide you with one before the session. Tablets are also provided.
