THE planets and stars, and how to reach them was the subject of a special day at the Hive in Worcester this time last year.
Space Day at the Hive included a full menu of talks, storytelling and educational activities for adults and children. Space experts and authors shared their stories and knowledge on the sun, stars, our solar system, and how astronauts live in space.
Visitors had the opportunity to try out super powerful telescopes, watch static rocket firings, enter the Design a Spaceship Competition and visit more than twenty displays. Children’s author Hazel Hiles held a reading from her book.
