Police were called at 1.52pm yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 10 October) to a report that a body of a man believed to be in his fifties had been found at the side of Trench Lane, Huddington, Droitwich.
A green 'Whyte' mountain bicycle was found at the scene, that the man is believed to have been riding.
The 57-year-old white man was wearing dark coloured cycling clothing.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the man who is believed to have been cycling in the Wyre Piddle, Pershore and Huddington areas.
Formal identification is yet to take place. The man's next of kin has been informed.
West Mercia Police Constable Matthew Digger said: "We believe the man was riding his bike in the Wyre Piddle, Pershore and Huddington areas.
"We are not treating this as suspicious at this time but would like to hear from anyone who may have seen him on his journey and can provide any information in to what may have happened."
The death is not currently being treated as suspicious at this time and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
