A BARN full of hay was destroyed in a fire in Abberley on Saturday (October 13).
Fire crews from Bewdley, Stourport, Leominster, Worcester and Tenbury rushed to the scene at around 4.30am, where they found the 20x20m barn well alight.
Following the incident, West Mercia Police Police closed Netherton Lane and Western Power isolated electricity to the building.
A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "We received a call just before 4.30am about a fire in Abberley. A large barn full of hay, approximately 20x20m was well alight and crews used main jets and hose reel jets to tackle the fire."
They added: "A thermal imaging camera was also used."
A water carrier from Leominster and two main hose reel jets were used to battle the flames.
Surrounding buildings were protected using water from a nearby pond.
Crews were on site until Sunday morning.
