ONE of the finest string quartets in the world, the celebrated Maggini Quartet, will be raising the rafters in the Great Barn at Hellens, Much Marcle, near Ledbury.

And the music on offer will be a mix of time-hallowed classics and modern visions.

The Julie July Band will be asking Who Knows Where The Time Goes? In a tribute to Sandy Denny at Worcester’s Huntingdon Hall, this Saturday, October 27, 7.30pm.

The Pontnewydd Male Choir will be raising the rafters of Ledbury’s Market Theatre this Saturday, October 27.

Founded 114 years ago by men working in local industry, the choir has been in continuous existence since then, even throughout the years of two world wars and the depression.
