A young woman has been seriously injured in an accident in Worcestershire this morning.
The incident occurred just after 7.30am on the A442 Bridgenorth Road, Shatterford.
West Midlands Ambulance Service received a number of emergency calls and an ambulance, Rapid Response Vehicle and the County Air Ambulance were called to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service Spokesman said: "On arrival at the scene, crews found a car that had left the road and been in collision with trees and bushes.
"A woman, believed to be in her twenties was treated at the scene for serious neck and spinal injuries. She was immobilised using a spinal board and neck collar and airlifted to Selly Oak hospital for further treatment."
