THE autumn comedy season at Evesham Arts Centre is upon us. And kicking off the evening of mirth on Friday, September 28, is comedian, actor, writer and broadcaster Hal Cruttenden.
Described as a big posh-sounding bloke, Cruttenden is a seasoned performer noted for his well-observed material, doing impressions of Tony Blair and getting rave reviews.
His television appearances include Channel 4's 11 O'Clock Show, BBC3's Brain Candy, ITV's the Warehouse, and BBC2's the Deputy Prime Minister.
Cruttenden will be joined by Daniel Townes, a young London-based Aussie comedian whose 2007 Edinburgh show was based on his detention and deportation from Los Angeles airport, and John Robbins, who hails from Bristol and appeared in the prestigious Comedy Zone showcase in Edinburgh earlier this year.
Doors open 7pm, and the show starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets, £8 and £6 for students, are available from Evesham Book Centre on 01386 45567.
