A DOG fancy dress event will raise funds for a charity that cares for retired police dogs.

The show at The Dog House, Worcester will take place Sunday, November 4. It will raise money for the West Mercia Retired Police Dogs Welfare Fund.

Contestants are encouraged to drag out those winter dog coats and dress up with winter themes.

The day will see everyone walk from Perdiswell Sports Centre to The Dog House Canine Centre, raising funds to help retired police dogs with vet fee's and their welfare.

The event takes place from 11:00 - 14:00.

Park your car at Perdiswell Sports Centre at 11:00 and join the group for a dog walk to the Canine Centre at Blackpole (approximate distance of just under 1 mile)

Light refreshments will be served at the centre.

Prizes will be awarded for winners of, best dressed dog, and best dressed human, best matching pair (human and dog)

Following presentations and refreshments the group will all walk back to the cars at Perdiswell Leisure Centre.

The competition is £5 per dog. You can pay at the car park.

This event will continue even if its rains.
