THE Total Who Show is on tour and the good news is, for fans of classic rock, the tribute act has a date at Worcester’s Huntingdon Hall next week.

A spokesman said: “Experience the passion, power and majesty of The Who – one of the world’s greatest rock bands – in an unforgettable two-hour show!

“Love The Who? Then get ready for two hours of all the hits and classics, including Won’t Get Fooled Again, My Generation, Pinball Wizard, Amazing Journey, Sparks, Who Are You, Substitute, 5.15, Squeeze Box, Behind Blue Eyes, The Seeker, I Can See For Miles and Love Reign O’er Me, with The Total Who Show.”

The show features musicians who have actually been on stage with living legends.

The spokesman added: “The Total Who Show is brought to you by Johnny Warman’s Magic Bus, featuring top musicians who have performed with Roger Daltrey, Peter Gabriel, The Small Faces, Bruce Springsteen, and the Foo Fighters.”

The legendary English rock band The Who was formed in 1964, more than half a century ago, and with The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and the Kinks, they soon became icons of the Swinging Sixties, in the UK and the USA in particular.

The classic line-up consisted of lead singer Roger Daltrey, guitarist and singer Pete Townshend, bass guitarist John Entwistle, and drummer Keith Moon. Over the few years that followed on from The Who’s 1965 single My Generation, the songs got bigger and more ambitious, culminating in 1969’s Tommy, a hugely influential rock opera. They followed it up with one of rock’s true masterpieces, Who’s Next.

The spokesman added: “The Who are considered one of the most influential rock bands of the 20th century, having sold over 100 million records worldwide. The Total Who Show pays tribute to The Who in its own unique way, capturing the original band’s pure adrenaline-rush-giving energy and adding their own individual flair to the songs.

“Whatever your generation, catch them at Huntingdon Hall.”

In show takes place on Saturday, November 10, at 7.30pm.
