ORCHESTRA Pro Anima, directed by Michael Bochmann, will give another in their popular series of string orchestra concerts at Christ Church in Malvern, this month.
A spokesman said: “As usual, the programme will feature music spanning the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods, including works by Vivaldi, Handel, Mozart, Mendelssohn and Debussy.
“For this concert, the orchestra is delighted to welcome the acclaimed Malvern-resident pianist Tim Sidford to perform in Mozart’s beautiful Piano Concerto in A K414 and also Debussy’s Clair de Lune. The musicians in the orchestra have played together over a long period of time and their affinity with one another, coupled with the welcoming atmosphere of Christ Church, will make for a memorable afternoon of music-making.”
The concert takes place on Sunday, November 18, from 3pm at Christ Church in Avenue Road.
