STUDENTS in Worcester will experience a dissection of the human body in a special event at the city's university.
The VIVIT Experience is coming to the University of Worcester on April 19 next year, to give students the chance to see a £30,000 state-of-the-art synthetic cadaver.
The cadaver weighs in at 18 stone and the show will give students a deeper insight into healthcare and the human anatomy.
Acclaimed human anatomist Samuel Piri and his clinical team will lead students into a thorough dissection of the human body and they will be taught clinical skills including X-rays and linking symptoms to diagnosis.
There will be a Q&A to give students the opportunity to ask anything they want and time for anatomical samples.
Using a post-mortem style experience, the students will look at disease and pathology by working on real specimens and using real surgeons’ tools.
