POLICE officers showed their support for a care charity by visiting its phone box.
PC Paul Kennedy and PCSO Martin Butcher posed for a picture at Crossroads Caring for Carers' red phone box in Powick, which the charity adopted to raise awareness of its cause.
Crossroads care manager Helen Simmons said: “The police were brilliant turning up the way they did. We were not expecting full uniforms and a police car."
She added: “Crossroads not only provides care for the person with care needs but also respite to the family-based carer or carers.
"We are hoping that community spirited publicity like this will help raise awareness of the work our charity does and encourage people to come and work with us.”
PCSO Butcher said: “We were glad we were able to help support such a good cause”
