SIR – I noticed in the Property News that one new development in the city was reducing the cost of four-bedroom homes by between 6.5 per cent and nine per cent and offering to pay the legal fees.
However, even with this reduction they remain at 24 to 26 times more than the yearly minimum wage.
Proof, should it be needed, that luxury housing is not or should not be the priority during an alleged housing crisis.
Our “greenbelt” is currently a developers’ “moneybelt” until common sense prevails.
