PARKING: The fire engine struggling to get through the Arboretum
A fire engine was held up by parked cars in the Arboretum this morning.
The crew of the vehicle was trying to get to Barry Street via Northfield Street when it became stuck due to cars parked on the junction.
Cllr Matthew Jenkins, who has put forward a plan for permit parking in the area, said: "Part of the plan is to put double yellow lines in that area specifically to stop incidents like this."
