A POLICE investigation is continuing into a knifepoint robbery, with it emerging a police dog team was deployed to search for the robber.

The robbery happened when a man entered the garage at Northwick Service Station, in Ombersley Road, Worcester, on Sunday, November 18, and threatened staff with a knife asking for money. A small amount of cash was taken.

The dog team was deployed to search the area immediately after the robbery that happened at 5.30pm, but was unable to locate him.

The man who carried out the robbery is white, around 5ft 8ins and was wearing black sunglasses, a white scarf over his mouth and nose, a grey hooded top, with light blue jeans and had a white socks on his hands. CCTV was recently released of the man, who exited the service station onto Northwick Avenue.

Anyone with witnesses is asked to call police on 101, quoting 154S.
