FATHER Christmas is set to make his traditional visits to the city on his sleigh -with the help of the Worcester Lions.

Excited children will be listening for the sound of sleigh bells as the tour's visit to the city’s streets will start tomorrow.

Santa will be accompanied on his rounds by Worcester Lions members, friends and Guide and Scout groups.

The money raised will go to good causes including the Community Grants Scheme, supported by the Worcester News.

A Worcester Lions spokesman said: “As ever, we are unable to cover everywhere we would like to - we hope those areas that we are having to disappoint will understand. Worcester Lions Club is always in need of new members to enable them to carry on organising events and provide direct support to individuals, groups and good causes. To find out more email worcester@lions105m.org.uk or phone 0845 833 5926.”
