Members of staff from a Worcestershire accountancy firm helped spread Christmas cheer with gifts for children. Ballards LLP donated presents and chocolates to Worcester Community Trust. The Trust will be hosting 5 “Tea with Santa” events across their six community centres, which will serve over 300 local children.

Ben Allman, partner with Ballards, said “The Trust’s community centres regularly provide hundreds of children with positive opportunities and experiences that they may not typically have. These include archery, dance and even a magic workshop! We are delighted to have been able to help out with such a worthy cause”.

In the last 18 months the Trust have had over 7,000 attendances across their youth programme. As well as supplying a chocolate selection box to every single child, Ballards staff also bought gifts for children whose mothers are receiving support from the Trust’s domestic abuse service, DAWN.

Since April this year over 100 women have received support from DAWN with 92 leaving their abusive relationship long term.

Ruth Heywood, director of business at Worcester Community Trust, said: “Thank you to Ballards LLP and their staff to supporting the Trust and the clients we serve.”
