A WOMAN in her 80s was taken to hospital after a crash involving three cars.
The elderly passenger suffered head, leg and chest injuries in the crash, which happened on Walkers Lane, Worcester, near the junction with Swinesherd Way, which took place at around 4.48pm yesterday.
A driver, also in his 80s, also suffered minor injuries in the crash.
Paramedics assessed two other patients at the scene and transported the injured passenger to Worcestershire Royal Hospital, arriving at 5.20pm.
Firefighters from Worcester checked the vehicles involved in the crash to make sure they were not leaking any fuel.
Police closed Swinesherd Way shortly after the crash.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent two ambulances and a paramedic officer to the incident.
