MYSTERY surrounds the position of the head of Worcester's Regency High School.
Sara Harding is currently away from the school in Carnforth Drive, but no explanation for her absence has been given.
Mike Eglesfield, the school's acting head, said: "She is absent from the school but I cannot say any more than that, other than that the school is running normally."
The school's website describes it as "providing a caring, supportive yet challenging environment for students between 11-19 years with a range of additional needs including moderate, severe and profound learning disabilities, physical and medical needs, and sensory impairment".
