THE charity Malvern Cube Projects, which is dedicated to providing youth support, has just received a £6,500 grant to run the Thrive project, aimed at raising health and wellbeing among young women aged 11 to 18).
The project starts on Tuesday, February 5, from 5pm to 7pm, and will initially run every second Tuesday, providing a space for young women to meet.
Organisers will run sessions based on whatever the attendees need help with.
Kelda White, youth activities coordinator, said: “This could be anything from advice on healthy eating, exam stress, body image, self-confidence, sexual health, drugs support, forming healthy relationships, physical exercise or whatever they identify. We will also support peer mentoring.”
