A WORLD Fitness Champion wants to ‘give back to the community’ and offer support to the homeless.

From striving in the fitness industry and competing in a bodybuilding exhibition in Canada, Arran Arogundade will feed the homeless today at Nando's, in Friar Street.

Mr Arogundade, aged 27, manager of Worcester’s Fitness4Less, said “It is not just about the food - myself and a few friends will be sitting down with the homeless to talk and listen to them. We hope to offer them encouragement, treat them like normal human beings without the label of being homeless, and give them a better tomorrow.

"My goal is to offer the homeless a healthy meal in a safe environment. I want to give back to the community.

“I always tend to give money, buy food and donate clothes to individuals on the street.”

Mr Arogundade will be giving out care packages with everyday essentials in, such as socks and toothpaste.

The mayor of Worcester, Jabba Riaz, will join the event, which is taking place today from 11am to 12pm.
