A HORSE was rescued from a swimming pool near Worcester on Friday morning.
Firefighters had to drain the pool and build steps out of hay bales to lead the horse to safety.
The horse was able to walk from the pool to be attended by a vet.
Two crews from Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service, both from Worcester Fire Station, rescued the animal from the swimming pool in Crowle at 8am.
Firefighters left the scene just after 9.30am.
