TRAIN users have spoken out about what they’d like to see to improve services in Worcestershire.
This follows Harriett Baldwin, MP for West Worcestershire, asking rail users to have their say in order to inform the Government’s strategy over the coming decade.
Issues that will be looked at will include spending decisions, HS2 and the existing rail franchises.
Speaking to the Worcester News at Foregate Street rail station, Gary Gibson, 30, said: “I’m not happy about the price increases.”
While Jenny Cox, 78, was concerned about the potential reduction in the number of conductors. She said: ‘I don’t want conductors to be taken off. I feel unsafe when they’re not around.’
Mrs Baldwin said: ‘We all want to see faster, more frequent and more reliable services.”
