LOVE and music are in the air at the Worcester Arts Workshop.

And why not? It’s almost Valentine’s day, after all.

A spokesman said: “It’s February and love is in the air, and at Worcester Arts Workshop it’s no exception as the city centre venue hosts yet another Old School Valentine Disco on Friday February 15.

“Following the success of the Old School Christmas disco, popular local DJ Ed Steelfox returns to the workshop with more floor fillers.”

The spokesman added: “In his own inimitable style, Ed will be mixing loved up party favourites with hot requests from the dance floor, skipping through the well loved genres.

“Disco divas, loved-up couples or members of the lonely hearts club are invited to relive some Old School classics.”

The Third Space bar will be open from 8pm, with doors to the Old School Disco in The Vault open from 9pm until midnight.

Tickets to Worcester Arts Workshop’s Old School Valentine Disco with DJ Ed Steelfox are £10 per person and can be pre-booked by visiting worcesterartsworkshop.org.uk

But February fun at the workshop doesn't stop here.

On February 21, from 7.30pm to 10pm, there will be a Worcester Arts Workshop Open Mic session in The Third Space area.

And there will be a Live Lounge session, once again in The Third Space area, on February 23, from 7.30pm to 10pm.

This will be a showcase for local bands and artists.

Looking slightly ahead, there will be a gin tasting evening in conjunction with local business Hussingtree Gin on Saturday March 2, from 7pm to 8pm.
