TWO more people have been sentenced for their part in a Worcestershire prison riot.

Grant Samed, aged 32, was sentenced to an indefinite hospital order over his role in the HMP Hewell mutiny, today.

Matthew Armstrong, aged 28, was also handed a six-and-a-half-year sentence today, after being found guilty at Birmingham Crown Court.

Timothy Murphy, aged 24, was found guilty in the same trial and will be sentenced on April 1.

All the prisoners' sentences will run consecutively to their current jail terms.

Eleven prisoners previously pleaded guilty to participating in the prison mutiny in February 2017.
