A WOMAN has been punched in head several times during an attempted car jacking in Stourbridge.
A woman was sat in her car when she was approached by a group of men, one armed with a machete, who demanded the car.
She refused and was punched several times in the head.
The incident was in Tye Gardens, Stourbridge, at 2.40pm on Wednesday, February 13.
Police have asked anyone with information to call 101 quoting crime reference number 20DY/37513X/19.
The latest attack comes days after an attempted car jacking against an elderly couple in Pedmore.
The terrifying incident happened in broad daylight in Stevens Road at around 3pm on Monday, February 11.
A 71-year-old woman was threatened with a machete on her driveway and then was followed into her house by two masked men.
The assailants were challenged by the woman's husband, also aged 71.
The intruders then fled empty-handed on a red and black scooter.
