DROPPING a cigarette butt in a Worcester street has cost a young woman £405 after she was prosecuted for the offence.
Emily Attwood, 21, dropped a cigarette butt in Spring Gardens, Worcester on August 2 last year.
After Worcester City Council pursued her for the offence, she pleaded guilty and the case was heard at Worcester Magistrates Court on February 8.
Attwood, of Chatcombe Drive in Worcester, was fined £100, ordered to pay a £30 victim services surcharge and £275 in court costs – a total of £405.
