What would you do if you had invited your mistress to spend the weekend while your wife is away visiting her mother, then at the last-minute your spouse decided to stay at home?
You could ask your best friend to pretend that the mistress is his, but then you run the risk of him mistaking the agency cook you have booked for the lover.
Which is precisely what happens.
This is the 'simple' part of the plot of Don't Dress for Dinner, the Swan Amateur Theatre Company's next presentation which runs from Wednesday, February 27, to Saturday, March 2, in the main house at the Swan Theatre.

The cast contains some faces familiar to Swan regulars and is directed by Paul Bellamy.
Written by Marc Camoletti (more famous for Boeing Boeing), this is a romp of a farce, filled with lies, confusion and hilarious misunderstandings.
